Seller Payment Policy

This Seller Payment Policy (“Policy”) outlines how payments to sellers are processed, the applicable fees, payout schedules, and related obligations for all sellers (“Seller”, “you”) using the Baiiiz platform. By listing products and selling on Baiiiz, you agree to comply with this Policy.

1. Payment Processing

  • All payments for products sold on Baiiiz are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment provider.

  • Sellers must have a valid Stripe account linked to their Baiiiz seller account to receive payouts.

  • Payments from buyers are collected by Baiiiz and held in escrow until payout conditions are met.

2. Service Fees and Deductions

  • Baiiiz charges a service fee of 4% to 15% of the product sale price (depending on category, promotion, or agreement), plus a fixed 4% transaction fee on each sale.

  • All applicable fees are automatically deducted from the gross sale amount before payout to the Seller.

  • Any additional Stripe processing fees are included within the transaction fee and are not charged separately to Sellers.

3. Payout Schedule

  • Seller payouts are initiated 14 days after the confirmed delivery of each order.

  • “Confirmed delivery” means the buyer has received the order and either confirmed receipt or the delivery period has elapsed without dispute.

  • Payouts are made directly to the Seller’s linked Stripe account.

  • Processing times for funds to appear in your bank account may vary depending on Stripe and your bank, typically 1–3 business days after payout initiation.

4. Payment Holds and Delays

Baiiiz reserves the right to place a hold or delay on payouts in the following situations:

  • Suspected or confirmed fraudulent activity, chargebacks, or payment disputes.

  • Incomplete or inaccurate Seller account or Stripe information.

  • Ongoing investigations into order, delivery, or return issues.

  • Breach of Baiiiz’s Terms, Seller Terms and Conditions, or applicable law.

Sellers will be notified of any holds or delays and the actions required to resolve them.

5. Refunds, Returns, and Chargebacks

  • If a buyer is issued a refund before payout, the refunded amount will be deducted from the Seller’s pending balance.

  • If a refund or chargeback occurs after payout, Baiiiz reserves the right to recover the amount from future payouts or invoice the Seller directly.

  • Sellers are responsible for any chargebacks, disputes, or penalties arising from their transactions.

6. Taxes and VAT

  • Sellers are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling their tax obligations, including VAT registration, collection, and remittance as required by UK law.

  • Baiiiz does not withhold or remit taxes on behalf of Sellers.

  • Sellers must ensure that their product prices include all applicable taxes and provide VAT invoices to buyers if VAT registered.

  • Baiiiz may provide annual sales summaries for your records, but does not provide tax advice.

7. Account Information

  • Sellers must keep their Stripe account and Baiiiz seller account information up to date at all times.

  • Baiiiz is not responsible for failed or delayed payments due to incorrect or outdated Seller information.

8. Currency

  • All payments are processed in GBP (£).

  • Any currency conversion or bank fees are the responsibility of the Seller and are not covered by Baiiiz.

9. Account Closure and Final Payout

  • Upon account closure, any outstanding payouts will be processed according to this Policy, subject to the standard 14-day post-delivery period and resolution of any open disputes.

  • Baiiiz reserves the right to withhold final payouts for up to 90 days in cases of suspected fraud, unresolved disputes, or chargebacks.

10. Policy Updates

Baiiiz may update this Seller Payment Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the effective date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
